This was incredible! This is the famous Black Sand Beach in Vik. It is famous for the black sand, of course, and also for the Basalt Pillars, as well as the very dangerous sneaker waves that can come in huge and fast. Youtube is full of videos warner people never to turn their back on the water. I think a bunch of the videos I took have me yelling to Kai to get the F&*k away from the water! And yes, I brought back some sand. 🙂 And there were more puffins!
