So we were supposed to do a full day tour today, but I fucked up and directed us to the ending location instead of the starting location. Long story short, we missed the tour and couldn’t arrange to meet them so that tour is rescheduled for Saturday, and today was our free day.
We decided to focus on the Santa Croce Basilica because it’s beautiful and has some cool tombs in it. It was pretty overwhelming. We had lunch and then went for the Duomo because we just couldn’t wait for the tour.
Also, I’m so floored by all the leather. It’s literally everywhere. Also, they have wine windows. I think there is only one still in use but there are closed ones all over the place.
