We are on a train from Naples to Florence. I was staring out the window and suddenly started hearing songs from the Mother’s Milk album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Then I remembered that the first time I came to Europe, in 1991, I had a Walkman with me and this album was maybe the only one tape I brought with me. If I had any others with me I don’t remember.
I do remember hours of train rides listening to Mother’s Milk. Fortunately, I now have Spotify and can listen to it again. 🙂
