We arrived at what was 4am for us and 10am local. We both actually slept on the plane so we aren’t totally fried. Figured out how to get the train out of the airport to Rome and how to get a public bus to our air bnb.
waiting at the bus stop, I saw Roman Numerals above the archway across the street. I whispered to Rich, “Look, Roman numerals!”, and he said, “In Rome they just call them numerals”. Yup, this is how this is going to go.
